- Before the actual hip-roof ceiling there was a pavilion with stars.
The walls are divide in three horizontal registrers, the last below register have the false curtains, but before was a real curtains, and up it there are a centrale register with the Moses and Christ stories. The stories are painting by artist from Florence and Umbria.
The chapel take a name from Fifth Sisto and Second Giulio, the Pope, call Michelangelo for paint the Universale Giudice.

The vault is:
- 3 registers with false architettures and ribs, they across.
- 9 scenes in the central register (the Genesi) and they are:

- 1° scene: God divides Light and the Dark: the first time when God is paint for foreshortening.
- 2° scene: God creates the Sun, the Moon and the Earth.
- 3° scene: there is God.
- 4° scene: The Adamo's creation: he haven't the Spirit, God arrives with the angels. The hands have a important mean... "between the alive and the death".
- 5° scene: Eva's Creation.
- 6° scene: God expels Adamo and Eva.
- 7° scene: Noe's Sacrifice.
- 8° scene: Universale Deluge: Michelangelo paints it in a big space for make to it more importance.
- 9° scene: Drunkenness's Noe: the dougthers cover his body.

The persons between the webs are Prophets and Sibyls, they are alive before Christ.
In the four corners webs talk about tha Israel's stories.
In the webs between the Prophets and Sibyls there are forefather's Christ.
